Brimscombe Court

Nowadays, Brimscombe Court (51°43'29.75"N, 2°11'47.89"W) is divided into four apartments, and the lodge and the mews have been sold as separate dwellings. Tombi Peck paid a visit (2003) and took the photos below. Here is her report on how to get there:
Leave Stroud on the road to Cirencester (London Road). On the left, you will come to 'The Wagon and Horses' pub. Immediately past that is a steep lane going uphill to the left - Brewers Lane. The entrance is on the corner formed by the T-junction of Brewers Lane and Thrupp Lane. The track inside the property forks: the left hand fork leads to the main house. You used to be able to drive on, coming out further up Thrupp Lane, but this is now blocked off by a hedge and is used as a parking space.
